Do what it feels like when one of these cars start their engines? They shake the ground and pretty soon the revolution of the engine’s cylinders start syncing up with speeding heartbeats. Boom! That! That’s literally all it takes to be hooked to racing. Before you know it, all the cars have started up. There are planes flying overhead and you start the hear the roar of the crowd. These cars start whipping around the track and it feels like everyone is in it together.
I got to hang out with a bunch of drivers and people in the pit and I left with so much respect for Nascar drivers. These people are at the very top of their game. They are shaving of fractions of seconds in everything they do while racing.
